Career Mashing
As I was on the site for Career Mashing, I had a million thoughts going through my head. What do i want to be? What job is fun for me? How will I see myself doing any of these jobs in the future? Questions like those burned through my mind, making me more confused about my future than I already was. The idea of having a job had always overwhelmed me, but as I slowly looked on the site I found a bit of ease. Searching through, I got started and quickly began to learn about the different types of CareerMash like innovator, leader, builder and a problem-solver. I read through each one and found out a little about what kind of qualities I had that could bring me closer to what I could possibly do in the future involving tech. I found that I was more of an innovator than anything else. Although it was interesting and informational I still wanted to know a bit more about jobs for an innovator, but that was easily fixed. There was another option of being able to look more into it at the end of every careermash type on the chart. As I continued to read, I was led into thinking of it more and more and finding it interesting. One job I found particularly amusing was robotics engineering, there was a video that demonstrated mechanical arms being controlled by people who were doing surgery. And to be a robotics engineer you need to go through a computer engineering program and basically any other course that had to do with mechanics and electronics. Creating new ideas, building them and working in a team are required to do this job. I find this whole career really interesting, and just searching about a certain career makes me feel easier about my future. Although I know I might not go into any tech careers, this was truly new and different to me I learned more about jobs I didn't even know existed and what qualities I had for a careermash type.
